๐ŸŒŽ The wonders of our world ๐ŸŒŽ

Alright, fellow travelers!

There’s something that intrigues me:

How many of these wonders of the world have you been to?

ย

1. Jordan:

PETRA

2. China:

GREAT WALL

3. Brazil:

CHRIST THE REDEEMER

ย

4. Peru:

MACHU PICCHU

ย

5. Mexico:

CHICHร‰N ITZรย

ย

6. India:

TAJ MAHALย

ย

7. Italy:

THE COLOSSEUM

Which one has impressed you the most?

Which one would you revisit?

I have been to 4 out of the 7. I still need to visit the Great Wall, although I was in Beijing but couldn’t go see it, and I don’t think I’ll go back, to be honest. China is not a place that captivates me…

However, I hope I can go to Rio de Janeiro there soon because I have a friend in Brazil who has been inviting me to her house for a while now!!!

And thenย  Machu Picchu, which I haven’t visited yet, but I know I’ll go there soon… It’s at the top of my priority list with my partner.

Among the others, Petra captivated me. I don’t know, being on a camel makes everything seem magical to me ๐Ÿช โœจ

There’s something special about Petra (which means “stone” in Greek), located in Jordan.

Its history dates back to the 7th century BC.

It was the resting point chosen by the Nabateans on the Silk Road between China and Rome. It was later abandoned in the Middle Ages and was not rediscovered until the 19th century!

The entrance through the 1.5 km long and about 200 meters high canyon is awe-inspiring, especially when accessed through a passage that is only two meters wide!!

The Royal Tomb, with its rock-carved faรงade, is truly impressive.

If you haven’t been there, put it on your list of places to visit!!

Speaking of wonders of the world…

Brazil ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท is the only country in the world that houses two of the seven natural wonders of the world within its borders: Iguazu Falls and the Amazon Rainforest.

So, from there, from Brazil, we want to show you the bracelets and earrings made of Capim Dorado, the only plant that grows in such a golden and shiny color that it appears dyed, but it’s not: It’s a marvel of nature and only grows in the state of Tocantins.

Hugs,

Teresa ๐ŸŒบ
