HATO CENTERPIECE
Straw and fique centerpiece
They look African but they come from Colombia. Made by members of the Guacamayos Community, by winding a bundle of straw with colored fique threads, they form spirals from the center, winding and sewing each turn with the previous one.

This piece should not be exposed to the sun or near a window through which a lot of light enters because it may lose some color. Periodically clean with a soft bristle brush to remove any dust that may remain between the threads.
