⚽️ Un tuareg en el Bernabeu ⚽️

⚽️ A tuareg at the Bernabeu ⚽️

When I lived in Madrid, one of the most beloved artisans in OHANA came to visit me.

Hamed, the goldsmith of the TUAREG ethnic group who makes incredible jewellery south of the Sahara Desert 🐪.

In his country (Niger), as in the whole African continent, football is the king of sports, so I invited him to visit the Real Madrid stadium and there we went….

And it was quite an experience…

The contrast between the pristine green grass and the sand

The solitude of the desert in front of those stands that I imagined full of people.

The photos of the mega-stars of football: ⚽️ people who earn almost as much per year as the GNP of many countries on the planet compared to the simple lives of the nomads in the Sahara…

Without talking about it among ourselves, we were thinking the same thing… the great contrasts of life.

In discussing it, we agreed that it was not easy to determine which was better.

Everything has advantages and disadvantages

Each life is unique 🥇

And you have to enjoy it!

Live and enjoy the present

Feel GRATITUDE for what you have and not to suffer for what you lack.

That’s a good way of looking at life.

I hope you live it that way.

And by the way… do you want to see the collection of jewellery handmade by Hamed in the desert?

Everything is completely handmade with silver of the highest purity and ebony wood or semi-precious stones.

A real eye-catcher.

Check them out

Hug,

Teresa 🌺

Pd:If you look on the bright side of things and appreciate the gifts you have, then you’ve understood what living is all about.
